Johnny grew up in Iowa on the Mississippi River and earned his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Horticulture and Landscape Design from Montana State University. He is a licensed landscape architect and ISA Certified Arborist with over 10 years in the landscape industry - everything from landscape maintenance to community planning. During this time, he has built a strong reputation in project management, design-build workflows, irrigation design, and graphic communication.

In his free time, Johnny is an avid skier, mountain biker, and drummer. He has always valued public lands and outdoor recreation, and is currently based in beautiful Albuquerque, NM where he can find a bit of everything.
